About Chalk Cottage
The cottage consists of 3 ground floor bedrooms together with the white modern tiled bathroom which has a convenient quality Mira shower and bath. Six people can be comfortably accommodated.
Bedroom 1 : King size double wrought iron bed
Bedroom 2 : Double wrought iron bed
Bedroom 3 : Single (stacker) bed with further
single bed stored underneath which can be easily pulled out to be used
as single or to make a double. This rear bedroom has French windows which
give access to the patio.
All the beds have quality mattresses, duck down duvets and pillows together with luxurious sheets and bedding, with pillow and mattress protectors for added comfort.
On
the first floor the spacious lounge dining area and kitchen have been
fitted out with no expense having been spared to provide luxurious and
modern comfort. Distressed oak flooring and quality carpets and blinds
compliment the leather and solid oak furniture which enhances the modern
facilities of the built in kitchen, boasting dishwasher, fridge, separate
freezer, microwave, oven and hob together with extractor hood.
An automatic washing machine is in the cubby hole to the right as you come in the rear door. Ironing board and steam iron are also provided.
An exposed rustic brick fireplace houses a log effect gas stove which together with a modern combination central heating system provides an all year round warm and welcoming atmosphere
A
flat screen 32” LCD top quality digital TV with Sky free view and
DVD provide added comfort.
The large detached garage provides access to the rear lawned garden and patio areas which are a suntrap for the afternoon sunshine and a perfect area for barbequing and sunbathing. Sun loungers and barbequing equipment are in the garage. Sorry no sun tan cream!
If
you are feeling really energetic you could always mow the grass for us,
(not compulsory!).
The cottage is ideal for walkers, golfers, excellent courses nearby, bird watchers and holiday makers seeking the comfort of discerning and quality accommodation which is something a bit different.
Bridlington with it’s blue flag beaches, Filey, Scarborough, Whitby, York and the North Yorkshire Moors (Heartbeat Country) are only a short drive away.
