The village of Flamborough is situated near Filey and the Bempton Cliffs Nature Reserve, famous for the amazing colonies of puffins and other seabirds. Walkers can take advantage of the Yorkshire Wolds and the magnificent North Yorkshire Moors as they are both within easy reach. The area also has a wealth of historic houses including Sewerby Hall and Burton Agnes Hall, which are close to the village and ideal for a family day out. If safe, sandy beaches are the order of the day, the resorts of Bridlington and Filey offer just such amenities and more besides for a traditional, seaside family feel.
